  1. :D Yes!

  2. So wonderful!!! I remember being in Athens right before the summer Olympics and I would play with the street puppies, until they poisoned them for the Olympics……Horrible!

  3. It’s good that our voices were heard, sometimes it feels as though no one is listening.
I think that the people responsible for organising these events need to take more responsibility for what happens in the country hosting them.

    • That’s exactly how I’ve felt. Doesn’t stop you fighting for what you believe to be right and just, but equally it doesn’t enhance matters either.

I guess all our countries are guilty one way or another at such times. And is one ill really any better or worse than the next? Bottom line – probably not. Change for the better is for all of us. Results like this give hope that we can indeed do better if we’re brave enough to try!

  4. Respect…Echoed here IceWolfie, We can make a difference when joined together in unison, One voice become a thunderbolt. xx

  5. A Gold medal is called for !!! well done everyone involved :)

  6. I had to skip the olympics this year, as my personal protest on what they were doing to their dogs. I made the mistake of googling images for proof, and yeah that was enough to turn me off it. Although I do love the olympics so would love to visit your venus piri piri! Also I have just begun my french journey on Duolingo, its been pretty great so far! :)

    • It’s always good to make a stand. Together we can make a difference. No animals were harmed in the making of the Galactic Winter Olympics or the Space Galactic Dog Trials I hasten to add! Do pop by Venus lol the Piri Piri is a wonderfully exciting event, full of cosmic wonders you would never have imagined ;) Keep up the good work on your French journey too. And if like me, the going starts to get tough and you begin to wonder why you ever started, don’t give up or lose your faith and commitment. After the tough rides, come the breakthroughs! I’m having a tough time with the Polish right now so I’m waiting for that breakthrough myself too lol :)
